Dick Cheney is a former chief of the staff of a President, he served in Congress and was also secretary of Defense. Cheney is a true gentleman and has earned the respect of all Republicans as well as Democrats. Cheney declares that he's an unassuming but trustworthy advisor to Bush during his presidency. Cheney declared his delight at being nominated for the Republican vice-presidential nominee. He stated that Cheney is eager to work with a person who is able to collaborate with those who have different political views and with shared objectives. Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on the 30th of January, 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. At the age of 13, Richard Bruce accompanied his parents in Casper (in the US state of Wyoming) which is where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
