Markie Post is a noted American actress who is known for her portrayals of public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels on ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. She's appeared on a variety of other shows in addition to acting. Her two sisters and daughter were nurtured by her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she enrolled and played football. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then graduated at Lewis & Clark College, Oregon. Post married Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) has been Post's husband since 1982. The couple has two daughters.
